It’s wonderful when you go out on a mini adventure with the camera and end up capturing an image that's worthy of appearing on BBC England. That’s what happened to me recently. I woke up early one morning and glanced out of the window.
There was a dense fog covering the landscape that looked spooky yet beautiful. I wrapped up warm, grabbed my camera and strolled down to the lake.
I didn’t expect to capture anything much and spent a lot of time watching the swans in the distance.
A few moments later, the fog was beginning to lift and I heard a few drops of rain fall onto the leaves above my head. Now was the time to try and capture the fog on the landscape before it would be gone completely.
This is the photo I captured that morning and I'm chuffed that that it was featured on their website and social media pages. BBC Gloucestershire has also requested a copy for their 'Autumn 2019 Scenes collection’, also to be shared on social media. It was definitely worth getting up early!
